Penrith Golf Club is a 6333m Par 72 Championship Golf Course featuring pure couch fairways and bent grass greens. The golf course is considered by many as 'the best in the west'. The golf course is fully irrigated by an automated irrigation system direct from Nepean River.
The Golf Course has previously hosted the NSW Open, NSW PGA, Australian Seniors PGA Championships and the 2010 NSW Junior Boys Championship. The course record of 63 is held by ex-Club Professional and Life member Mr. Graeme Abbott.
The New Clubhouse at Penrith Golf and Recreation Club was opened in 1997 and has wonderful aesthetic qualities with the superb backdrop of the Blue Mountains and the Golf course.
The Club is a great location for a quiet beer or glass of wine. Club facilities include, large screen televisions, TAB, Keno, 14 different draught beers, beautiful alfresco dining area overlooking the magnificent golf course and Ed'z Bistro providing fresh, affordable meals.

If you are looking for the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony or any occassion, the Club has a gazebo available for a garden wedding. Please speak with our Functions Manager Adrian for more details. We can organise for the use of golf carts (subject to availability) for you to be able to take photos on the course in any number of different locations.
The Club's Function Room can accommodate any number of guests from 60 to 130. The Function Room can be detailed to cater for the smallest celebration. We can organise the decoration of the room from simple balloons to the use of chair covers.
The room itself is very versatile and can be made to look full whether you are looking at 60 guests or 160 guests. There is plenty that can be done from simple balloons, to the use of chair covers (at further cost) and we can help to arrange anything that you need.
The room hire includes all your serviettes (in your choice of colour, or as near as we can get to it), table service drinks up to the toasts, and the full set-up of the room. Bar beverages can be arranged through Adrian and you are updated on the consumption levels throughout the night.
The room hire fee of $3.30 per head with a minimum charge of $99.00 is to be paid within two weeks of the original booking of the room, and the menu should be finalised ONE MONTH in advance with final numbers to be confirmed TWO WEEKS before the function. Full payment for the function must be made TWO WEEKS before the event, THE FINAL NUMBERS CONFIRMED ARE THE MINIMUM NUMBERS CHARGED, AFTER THE PAYMENT DATE THE ONLY CHANGE WILL BE NUMBERS ADDED TO THE FINAL NUMBERS.
We accept CASH, CREDIT CARD (American Express & Diner's Club not accepted) AND BANK CHEQUES ONLY no personal cheques will be accepted. ANY FUNCTION CANCELLED WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF THE DATE BOOKED WILL FORFEIT ANY DEPOSIT PAID.
A SURCHARGE OF 10% IS APPLICABLE ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND SUNDAY
All 18th & 21st Birthday celebrations MUST have a security guard for the duration of the party. Friday $44/hr and Saturday $55/hr.
